Hey guys, I'm alive still. here's an update:

University rocks.
Art class rocks, and so do most of my other courses.
Overload of work to do does not rock.
Being a broke university student does not rock.

Merry christmas/happy holidays to everyone!

This year I found it a bit hard to get excited about christmas because there isn't much snow around at all.  In fact- the grass seems to be greener than it was in july this year. O,0

I also didn't have time to make gifts for everyone this year- which I regret because I enjoy showing people how much I care about them.  Oh well- i'm sure they know I love them!

This year I got an attachment camera flash [380 ex?]- which is SO AWESOME!    Now I can relax about buying equipment for photography now... photography isn't cheap!  
I still want to start my own photography business- but it's really hard to get into that mind set.  Yes I can take good professional photos- but the pressure of getting clients is something I'm not used to.  I have no way of knowing if I'm actually ready. :/ well, maybe I do- but still... I can get really passive with my photography sometimes, which is something I definitely have to fix.  

Anyways.  I also got a digital artist magazine, some fine paint brushes, the 11th's Doctor's Sonic Screw driver, and a trilogy of books called "ring of bright water".  They're a book that I've been wanting for awhile- but only recently I have found them online.  Those are coming next week sometime.  

Another exciting thing is that I might be working with the local art gallery in their new "teen council" and help teach a workshop on light painting!  I'm super excited for that.

Anyways... that's all I got for now.  I hope everyone got what they wanted this year!

What I'm Up to:

- Editing a movie promoting the arts department for my school.  So far I've filmed 90% of the clips [10% others have filmed] and I'm half way through editing.  TONES OF FUN! but such hard work.

- Graphic design for my dad's work.  Not sure how much I can say about it now.

- Photo-shoot for photography class... or my mark is gonna suck, even though this is my second time in the course.

-Fix halloween costume for santa clause parade

- Go to some workshops, visit some galleries

-UNIVERSITY APPLICATIONS

- Send in entry form for photo contest [I'm on the short list!]

- Work

- Eat

- Sleep

- Make art.




After all this- I'm gonna make a sculpture.

I'm sick.  It sucks.

Sorry I haven't been uploading. I'm finding it hard to draw things worth uploading.  I think i'm not uploading as much because I almost got involved with an art scam, and there was news of another art scam around here that's just sorta freaked me out.  Stupid reasoning, i know- but it's how I feel.  

I got one really good piece in the works, but other than that- not much else.

In other news I won an award for getting one of the highest marks in gr. 11 photography with one of my friends... [and I think I'm getting the gr. 12 one too.]

I also submitted my work for a local artist book that's getting put together.  For free too!  I'm submitting along with my art teachers- so cool.

Any-hoodle. I hate being sick. And I have work all weekend.  >.< Blaaaaah
